This Privacy Policy explains how Innovation Philosophie ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Pat Villaceran, collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit this website or subscribe to our paid publication. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to run the publication and process your membership.
Who We Are
Innovation Philosophie is a paid, members-only publication. The website is a marketing and information front for a subscription publication hosted and delivered through beehiiv, our newsletter and publishing platform. Payments are processed through Stripe. Information We Collect
- Information you give us. When you subscribe, you provide your email address and, for paid memberships, billing details. Billing and card information is entered directly with Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the site or open our emails, standard technical data may be collected — IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and engagement with emails — through beehiiv's analytics and standard web logs.
- Information from your use of the publication. beehiiv records subscription status, open and click activity, and account preferences so we can deliver the publication you paid for.
How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the publication, the podcast, and members-only content you subscribe to.
- To process payments, manage your membership, and send billing and account notices.
- To understand what content resonates so we can improve the publication.
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not run third-party advertising against your data.
Who Processes Your Data
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments:

- Stripe, Inc. — processes all payments and stores billing information securely. We receive confirmation of payment and subscription status, not your card details. See stripe.com/privacy.
Cookies & Tracking
The website and emails use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and analytics (for example, remembering you and measuring which content is read). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the site works.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as you are a subscriber and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

Payment data is handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS Level 1 standards. Subscriber data is held by beehiiv under its security program. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we work only with providers that maintain industry-standard protections.
Children
This publication is intended for adults building businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and where required, communicated to subscribers by email.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the business is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
